Alison - William Simpson Teddy bear Collection

Teddy bear, 'Alison' made in Vietnam for Chad Valley, London, gingery fabric, lighter muzzle, rather flat face, small tail, red and white check neck ribbon stitched on, home made green tube-type dress and gilt brooch in shape of leaves and flowers with coloured stone,1999.

Mr Simpson's note reads: Alison (no 96) Henry (97) and Hilary (98) were al the companions of Mrs Simpson during her years at Buckfield House. Alison was given to Mrs Simpson at Buckfield House on her last (87th) birthday and spent her last hours with her in her bed by her side.
