Baby's cap, fine cotton, 3 drawstrings round face, 2 frills round face, one at nape, 6.5cm diameter crown with topstitching, fabric ties, 2 more runners at base of frills, another at nape, caul pieced at back, crown has 3 rows of dot stitches, 9mm tuck taken all round, probably later but for use, ties 17cm by 1cm, cut along selvedge, c1820-1849
