Baby's cap, fine linen, two pairs of drawstrings 2cm apart round face, 7.5cm diameter crown pieced from scraps of whitework, three 3cm frills round face of net darned to look like lille lace, double frill of net round nape, ribbon ties, crown made from 4 pieces joined to give wreath of leaves and flowers with large eyelet centres, flower applied to cover centre, caul edge turned back and vandyked, runners below frills, caul pieced at back, 1cm tuck all round caul, c1820-1839
