Bag, reticule, drawstring top, knitted cream silk closely beaded, lined deep rose satin, front face has central motif with crown in gold beads in a ring of multi coloured flowers with CAROLINE in silver around the outside, base and sides with red and yellow garlands of flowers, all on a shaddow patterned ground in pale beige, reverse face with central motif of silver lyre enclosed by wreath of green leaves, base trimmed with double beaded fringe of blue and beige, opening bound in cream satin and trimmed with fringe of blue beads, cream silk cords, approximate depth excluding fringe 175mm, approximate width 165mm, c1830-1840s
