Teddy bear, 'Basset' (the bass), thought to be made in England by the same company as 'Father Ted' (No. 87), so these four bears have been dressed as his choir members, swivel head and jointed limbs, label at back 'Salco House, River Way, Harlow, Essex, bronze neck ribbon, homemade black gown and white surplice, yellow 'counter' medal with faded 'B', black cap with red decoration, there are two homemade two-seater choir stalls and a stand with two sheets of music, all bought at the same time in 1999.

Goes with Father Ted (no 87), Mrs Ted (no 150) and the rest of the choir (nos 92, 93, 94). Mr Simpson's note reads: All bought in Lyme Regis in 1999. Selected from a considerable quantity displayed in a local shop and said to be of real mohair. Thought to be English and probably from the same maker as Father Ted. They are virtually identical but have been dressed as members of Father Ted's choir. Two are girls (Soprano and Alto) and two are boys (Tenor and Bass) Their names are Sabrina, Aline, Tennent, and Basset.
