Bonnet, cap, child's, white muslin, front edge trimmed with double frill plus an extra half frill to brow only, all frill edged with lace, single lace edge frill to lower edge, headpiece trimmed with two bands of contrasting lace insertion, caul trimmed with bands of pintucks and zigzag pattern whitework, matching lace insertions just before join with crown, plain round crown with feather stitch border, centre seam at nape, lined white silk, wide cotton ties, approximate height overall 145mm, approximate depth 135mm, c1890-1910
