Bonnet, cap, infant's, coif style, spotted white cotton, caul with four widely-spaced drawstrings, caul gathered into 50mm diameter whitework crown with tabs, whitework crown has dahlia-like motif with tiny eyelets, 7mm tuck taken all round crown, 20mm tuck over top of head probably a later alteration, approximate height 135mm, approximate depth 125mm, c1840-1859
