Bonnet, cap, infant's or toddler's, fine white linen, caul embroidered with tiny sprigs between hemstitched stripes, gauged into 70mm by 35mm rectangular crown of midlands lace strips, two frills of similar lace round face, one at neck, lace on crown of trolley type with gimped holes, lace frills have smaller gimped spots, scalloped buttonholed loops down sides of crown, bonnet extensively remodelled, with two drawstrings added across caul, drawstring round face probably original, linen ties, approximate height 160mm, approximate depth 165mm, c1780-1809
