Boot, one only, small women's or child's, ankle boot, dark brown leather, front laced with twelve pairs of eyelets, laces missing, leg of boot shaped at top, higher in front, reinforement or patch stitched to rear of ankle, stacked heel, very worn down, thick sole with studs, tongue missing, lined cotton twill, although worn until the stitching had split, it had earlier been well greased and looked after, approximate length overall 210mm, approximate heel height 20mm, approximate width of sole 65mm, damaged, c1880-1900
