Brass rubbing, in black heel-ball on white paper, priest in mass vestments, possibly Robert or Roger Grymm, c1390, St Vigor Church, Fulbourne, Cambridgeshire, by Herbert Druitt, 1876-1943
The effigy of the priest with scroll in hand has been mutilated and lies on the floor of the north aisle. If Robert or Rogar Grymm, he was rector of the church 1349-1377, The inscription on the scroll is 'Sit laus deo' (Give praise to God)
' Over the loosed fitting alb with its rather tight fitting embroidered cuffs, he wears a stole, the two embroidered ends of which would have been seen hanging below the chasuble, the ponco-like outer garment had the brass not been mutilated.
