Breakfast cup and saucer, bone china, decorated with close set acanthus leaves moulded in relief around base of cup and well of saucer and with printed and painted Japanese motifs on a pink ground; base of cup, painted pattern number 7/4832 and printed registered design mark with encoded date of 11th September 1876, underside of saucer, same, but registered design mark impressed, made by E J D Bodley, Hill Pottery, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, 1876+
