Buttons- William Simpson Teddy Bear Collection

This teddy bear was named ‘Buttons’ by Mr William Simpson who was an avid collector of more than 250 teddy bears. This teddy bear has been made of plush fabric and is decorated with a red spotted bowtie and a homemade blue cotton top and cream and red check trousers.

Mr Simpson partnered this teddy bear with ‘Bose’, another teddy bear in his collection. Mr Simpson received this teddy bear as a free gift from Boots the Chemist when purchasing photographic films.
