Davela - William Simpson Teddy Bear Collection

Teddy bear, 'Davela' made of pale biscuit plush fabric with pink pads, jointed limbs, wine and green tartan neck ribbon.

Mr Simpson's note reads: gift from Dave and Eaine Freebody at the same party at which I received Jacqueline (No 120). The name is of course a combination of the names of the donors. He carries what is probably intended as a set of croquet ball - a reference to our Croquet Club activities.
