Day cap, bonnet, women's, white muslin, front edge and headpiece trimmed three lace edged frills, caul trimmed with six bands of three rows of fine tintucks, lower edge trimmed two lace edged frills, the outer frill trimmed to match the caul with two bands of three fine pintucks, caul gathered in to nape, wide cotton drawstring with rounded ends tied between frills at nape, wide cotton ties with rounded ends, approximate height 250mm, approximate depth 190mm, c1840-1860
