This raffle acted as an incentive for supporters to purchase the pre-match cards and raise funds for the club. These sponsors and adverts highlight the relationship between local teams, businesses and communities. 

Eastleigh Town football club 

Formed in 1926 as the Eastleigh Amateurs, the club soon became The Town Club in 1931. In 1936, the club was attempting to bounce back after a tough 1935-36 season in the Southampton Senior League.
