Christmas/New Year's Card
New Year's/Christmas card with greeting and poem on front which opens down the middle to reveal a scene of three angels (the third visible after pulling a ribbon) watching out over a baby on a cloud in the foreground, in paper folder. Sent 1891. The message reads 'With fondest love & best wishes for the New Year from Leslie & his Dad to his dearest Mamma 1891'. The recipient of this card was the donor's mother Alexandria Rose and it was the first Christmas card given her by her son Alfred Leslie Rose.
