Jetton, Anglo-Gallic.
Brass reckoning counter, or jetton
Anglo-Gallic type, 14th-15th century
The obverse displays a Star of David whilst the reverse shows a short cross. Anglo-Gallic jettons were made at the English mints in France with designs based on the French coinage. It is unlikely that Anglo-Gallic jettons were struck after 1453, the year of the final expulsion of the English from France.
