Jug, drab earthenware, press moulded with curved spout, long fluted neck and a depressed globular body with arabesque ornament in relief; moulded base with marks showing jug was made for the Royal Hotel, Lowestoft, factory mark and registered design mark with encoded date of 23rd June 1860, made by the Sandford Estate Clay Co, Wareham, Dorset, 1860+
