The makers mark 'AdT' and relief-moulded pattern number 338 followed by a star on rim shows it was made in the factory of Baron Alexis du Tremblay, Montreuil, Paris, France between 1830 and 1850.
The source is the 'Madonna della Sedia' tondo in the Pitti Palace, Florence, painted by Raphael 1512-1514.
