Purse, sovereign, covered mother-of-pearl in pink and brown shades, mounted on metal frame with snap closure, lined mid blue silk with three internal compartments of matching blue edged white, front face originally had painted decoration and inscription, now almost entirely worn away, reverse marked Made in Germany, approximate width 65mm, approximate depth 45mm, c1870-1900
