A sack hoist, G. Lewis & Son Ltd of Kettering, c.1920
A sack hoist with a swing bed mechanism. This would have been used to load grain onto carts within a mill. This sack hoist was manufactured by G.Lewis and Son Ltd who manufactured agricultural tools such as sack lifters and weighing machines from Queen Street Ironworks in Kettering.
