Shoe, one only, brown leather, latchet tied with two pairs of holes over vamp tab, dog leg side seams, rounded toe, thick leather sole with visible stitching, low leather heel, straight leather sole with metal studs, now rusted, approximate length overall 265mm, approximate heel height 15mm, approximate width of sole 90mm, damaged, c1840-1860, from Botley Manor Farm during renovations, September 1977.
