Shoes, pair, women's, barette style, light brown kid, lined tan kid, high Louis heel with flared base, heel cover outlined in fine cream stitching, straight side and rear seams, high cut vamp with tongue cut to a point, pointed toe with original cotton wadding, the vamp is trimmed with bronze beading and has a decorative cut-out design simulating bar straps, the shoe ties with a lace which threads through two eyelets in the tongue to a pair of latchets, laces now missing, decorative cream satin insole stamped Manufactured in Vienna for Peter Robinson, 212 Oxford Street and Regent Street, London, with red embroidery round the edge of insole, leather sole, approximate length 265mm, approximate heel height 75mm, approximate width of sole 70mm, c1890-1915
