Copper-allloy fitting
Medieval
Found in the early 2000's by Wessex Archaeology at the Evans Halshaw site, Hyde Street, Winchester, Hampshire
This copper-alloy object was perhaps a buckle, but if so, it has lost its pin or never had one. The quite small size suggests that it came from a narrow leather belt, or perhaps, a shoe.
