Sunbonnet, bonnet, women's, cotton printed red, green and cream flowers, brim has seven rows of close cording, the caul has a narrow self frill followed by two rows of cording, another frill and four rows of cording, the horseshoe shaped crown has a vertical double row of cording and a single row at the outside edge, the crown is lined with white cotton, gathered bavolet or curtain with a shorter frill joined to the central section at the nape, small bow of matching cotton at centre back, unlined, short ties of matching cotton, one of the ties is missing, approximate height overall 290mm, approximate depth 200mm, c1860-1910
