Sunbonnet, bonnet, women's, pink cotton, supported by hoops of cane, front edge trimmed very narrow frill and three rows of close cane, headpiece trimmed two double rows of cane and two frills, caul has eleven rows of cane, join between caul and crown has three rows of close cane and a deeper frill, horseshoe shaped crown is gathered on a drawstring and tied internally at nape, large bow trim with streamers at base of crown, lower edge from outer corners of crown to front edge stiffened with cane, deep plain curtain, wide cotton ties, damaged, approximate height overall 520mm, approximate depth 230mm, c1840-1860
