Sunbonnet, bonnet, women's, starched biscuit coloured cotton, corded headpiece with narrow frill of matching fabric trimmed single band of yellow ribbed silk ribbon around front edge, brim formed by deep finely pleated frill trimmed with three bands of yellow ribbed silk ribbon, caul trimmed four double rows of cording and a deep finely pleated frill trimmed with three bands of yellow ribbed silk ribbon which extends towards the rear, gathered horseshoe shaped crown stiffened with five double rows of cording and trimmed two double bands of yellow ribbed silk ribbon, no curtain, matching cotton ties, approximate height overall 300mm, approximate depth 230mm, c1890-1900
