Sunbonnet, bonnet, women's, white cotton printed fine stripes of purple, cane support hoops, front edge having three cane hoops with cording and a frill between, caul trimmed graduated rows of cording and narrow frills, horseshoe shaped crown with two bands of horizontal cording and a bow trim at nape, caul lined white cotton, cane along lower edge is now much shattered, deep curtain frill, cotton ties, damaged, approximate height overall 430mm, approximate depth 230mm, c1880-1900
