Sunbonnet, remodelled to make day cap, bonnet, women's, white cotton, front edge has been cut away but part of a band of four rows of cording remains, the caul is trimmed with two wide bands of chevron pattern cording with two narrow bands of triple cording between, full horseshoe shaped crown is finely stitched and gauged in to caul, drawstring at nape section only, ties missing, approximate height 200mm, approximate depth 250mm, c1800-1890
