Extract from Edward Hart's Catalogue 'Quite common, and might have been breeding in the area. The View is of Tyrell's Ford where the slayer of the Red King crossed, and in the village on the right, he stayed his flight to have his horses hooves reversed so the King's soldiers were baffled in their pursuit, and in memory of this deed, the smithy still pays a yearly fine to the Crown.'
