the tazza was acquired by the Whither family at Oakley, when Dorothea Whither died in 1698 she bequeathed it to All Saints Church, Deane, Hampshire, it stayed at the church and was used in the Communion Service until1971 when it was sold by the churchwardens to repair the church roof
