Preparing a depth charge thrower for firing
A Thornycroft designed Mark II depth charge thrower being loaded with a canister on board a ship. The canister and carrier are both loaded in the thrower tube and a man is making an adjustment to the canister. Difficult to be sure of date as although the Mark II depth charge thrower was developed in 1918 its use continued into the Second World War.
