The testing of a Mark II depth charge thrower
Thornycroft designed Mark II depth charge thrower being tested, possibly outside the Thornycroft Worting Road plant. What looks to be camouflage paint can be seen on a building behind. Difficult to be sure of the date as although the Mark II depth charge thrower was developed in 1918 its use continued into the Second World War.
