Lithophane, porcelain, smear glazed and painted in enamel colours with a black border, showing the interior of a cabin with three men, a girl and dogs, a goat peers over the half-door at back; impressed mark 'PPM' and pattern number 1378 on back, made by the Plauesche Porzellanmanufactur, Plaue, Thuringia, Germany, late 19th century.

The source is probably a genre scene by the Austrian painter Franz von Defregger (1835-1921).
