Tiddley Winks - William Simpson Teddy Bear Collection

This teddy bear was named Tiddley Winks and belonged to Mr William Simpson, an avid collector of more than 250 teddy bears. Tiddley Winks is a miniature china bear. He stands upright and holds a blue football under his left arm. He wears painted green trousers, a cream jacket and a blue and red scarf. 

Mr Simpson received this bear in 1963 from a 'Mrs Hardy of the old Chantecler French Circle' in Harrow. Mr Simpson believes that he was made locally to be sold to tourists.
