Tinribs- William Simpson Teddy Bear Collection

This is a money box shaped like a teddy bear, made out of fabric covered moulded plastic with a slot at the top of the back for the coins. This was named 'Tinribs' by Mr William Simpson, an avid collector of more than 250 teddy bears.

This money box was originally owned in 1970 by Mrs Simpson senior and was known to her as Smiler.
